Richardlee's Accessories

Jewellery brand website presenting handcrafted collections, custom design services, and the artistic vision behind Richardlee's Accessories.

Project Intent

Richardlee's Accessories needed a website that could present handcrafted jewellery as both a product offering and a creative body of work. The challenge was to create a digital experience that respects the brand's artistic identity while still helping visitors understand collections, services, and the designer's background quickly. This project focused on building a structured brand website that supports storytelling, product presentation, and service discovery in the same space. The goal was to give the brand a more refined online presence that could speak to both potential customers and bespoke clients.

Project Overview

Richardlee's Accessories is a handcrafted jewellery brand based in Tsumeb, Namibia, founded by designer Richardlee Shoombe. This project was created to give the brand a digital platform that reflects its craftsmanship, cultural inspiration, and distinctive design philosophy. The website needed to present collections, custom design services, and the founder's story in a way that feels visually refined while remaining clear and easy to navigate.

The Problem

  • Handcrafted jewellery brands rely heavily on visual presentation and storytelling, so a basic product list is not enough to communicate value.
  • Collections often carry cultural references, symbolic meaning, or design inspiration that need context if visitors are going to connect with the work.
  • The website had to balance premium product presentation with the personal artistic identity of the designer.
  • Visitors needed a clear way to explore collections, services, qualifications, and the founder background without the experience feeling cluttered.

The Solution

  • Designed clear collection pages that help visitors move through different jewellery lines with stronger visual consistency.
  • Created a dedicated area for bespoke design services so custom work is easy to discover and understand.
  • Structured the site around craftsmanship, philosophy, and artistic inspiration to support the brand story behind the products.
  • Organized supporting services such as repairs, valuations, and digital jewellery design into a clearer service flow.
  • Included awards and qualifications to strengthen trust and reinforce the professional credibility of the brand.

Key Features

  • Collection-based product presentation
  • Bespoke jewellery design showcase
  • Services section for repair and restoration
  • Founder biography and artistic philosophy
  • Cultural inspiration behind each collection
  • Responsive design optimized for product browsing

My Role

I handled the full design and development of the website, including content structure, visual layout, responsive front-end implementation, and the organization of collections and service information. The focus of the project was to create a digital environment that reflects the craftsmanship and cultural identity of the jewellery brand while presenting products and services clearly to potential clients.

Outcome

The final website gives Richardlee's Accessories a more structured and polished online presence. Visitors can explore collections, learn about the inspiration behind the work, and understand available bespoke and support services through a clearer content flow. The project shows how thoughtful web design can support both product presentation and brand storytelling for a craft-based business.
